What has changed?
We have been updating the look of our website along with a new logo and visual identity. We have also welcomed Cary Webson as the new mascot for Websupport. Together with the new look, we have also launched a new, faster and more modern environment with an associated control panel. All so that you can easily manage your services and succeed online.
When will I be upgraded to the new environment / platform?
Initially, we will only add new registrations to our new environment, but within the coming months we will also upgrade you as an existing customer. All customers will be upgraded and the order will be based on which services are moved when. When it’s your turn to upgrade, you will receive more info from us via email.
What will this change mean for me as a customer?
The change means that you as a customer will be able to take part in our newly developed platform, which entails several improvements.
– Significantly improved performance in the form of faster servers and modern technology.
– A completely new control panel that will give you as a customer even more control over your services with us.
– A wider product range and several new functions around your services.
– Increased security for your websites. They are now protected by better application firewalls and you can virus scan your pages in the control panel yourself.
– Your services with us and your website will be even more environmentally friendly as we move into one of Sweden’s most modern data centers, with climate-positive operations.
For you as an existing customer, nothing is changing right now, you can still access your control panel and webmail via the links on the website.
Please note that the new Websupport.se shows the range of services for the new environment and until you are upgraded, you will find information about your services in your control panel in logged-in mode. Here you can also manage your current services and order more, just as usual.
And of course you still have the support of our Swedish-speaking support who is here for you 365 days a year.
What are the benefits of your new control panel?
The new control panel is designed with our customers in focus. It is easy to navigate and easy to use as well as flexible when it comes to improvements of functions in the future. For the slightly more advanced user, it will be noticed by a major improvement in expanded functionality that gives you as a customer greater freedom, expanded opportunities and more control.
Where are my services stored?
Since 2021, we have a large part of our services at the climate-positive data center EcoDataCenter. The plant in Falun is built entirely of wood and is powered 100% by renewable electricity. The heat generated is utilized by municipally owned Falu Energi & Vatten and is used there either directly for heating or for drying biofuel. A completely unique solution that makes the data center really climate-smart.
Does this improve your technical conditions for delivering stable and fresh services in the future?
The upgrade to our new platform is a step in the process that took place in 2020 and 2021, where the goal is to deliver a significant improvement in performance through faster servers and modern technology. We want to meet the future needs for strong and flexible hosting. Therefore, we will continue to work continuously with further improvements and upgrades in the future.
Will the price of my services change?
During the past year, we have made some changes in our product portfolio, both in terms of packages and price, where increased performance and modern services in combination with maintained support have been the key words.
By changing platform, it gives us space to continue working on modernizing and at the same time opens up new opportunities for you as a customer, without it affecting your contract price in terms of the value of the service.
Will this affect my support from you?
No! You will turn to the same competent support staff as before. Our local support will be available to you 365 days a year.
